I have been a wildlife,equestrian and canine artist now for thirty eight years! I learnt to draw anaimals and birds from taxidermied specimans at Gloucester art college in 1976 from Glos museum.
I was inspired by the late Sir Peter Scott.he wrote to me with some of his prints.I was thrilled last year to exhibit my work at Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust where I sold several prints and a few originals.I visit Slimbridge at least once a week where I sketch and photograph the birds and landscape.
I have won many awards including the Christopher Parsons Award for artistic excellence with the Wildlife Art Society in 2012 also two Gold awards 2011 and 2013.The David cook drawing award at National Exhibition of Wildlife Art twice,Highly Commended for work at the Royal Barth & west show,commended for work enterd in Wildscape magazine ,runner up British Birds BBC Wildlife 2010 and numerous others.
I exhibit regularly with TWASI and NEWA and have recently joined the Association of Animal Artists.
my work is varied in most mediums.I welcome commissions.my work is in private collections across the UK,USA,Singapore,France and Germany.
